One of the key missions of our VINAHF is to help the poor fight against and their extreme poverty, to escape their poverty loops. This strategic, long-term VSP is deployed and operated based on the same VINAHF principles:
- To help the underprivileged students equally, based on the fair qualifications. VPS provides the financial support (via grants) and other cares, mental support without any discrimination against the scholarship applicants because of person’s race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), origin, age, disability or genetic information.
- VINAHF commits to provide long-term scholarship to support students achieve their highest dream of education to their capabilities so long their academic performances are in good status.
- VINAHF strongly supports the fight for “Gender Equality”, “Women’s Rights” and VPS is one way for VINAHF to show our supporting policy to “Gender Equality”. Therefore, the girl students who want to work hard and fight for their education dreams are our targets to provide the full VPS support.
- For qualified students, VINAHF only expects they will perform well at school and graduate. There is no condition whatsoever for them to receive VINAHF scholarship. Any conditions associated with this grants , such as asking students to return favor, to join any organization, any group, to participate to whatsoever activities (government, politics, religions, etc.) are strictly prohibited, and that’s against our VINAHF’s policy on unconditional support the underprivileged students.
- VINAHF volunteers who recommend students for VSP scholarship are responsible to work with, and support the students until they graduate to the highest degrees they can possibly achieve.
- VINAHF gives these underprivileged students a needed lift so they can stand to walk by their own feet. Therefore students selected should be responsible, determined to work hard with the financial and mental support from VINAHF to overcome the obstacles, to fight against the uphill battle for their future.
Not only the academy performance, VINAHF will also educate each VINAHF student to be a person with the good characters such as integrity, responsibility, gratitude, compassion, service-oriented – same values that our VINAHF stands for.
