One of the earliest VINAHF strategic and long-term programs is VINAHF Scholarship Program (VSP), officially deployed in 2002 after the successful pilot program started in Quang Nam several years before. VINAHF’s mission is to help the poor, the underprivileged, the less-fortunate students, therefore the students from poor families, orphans from orphanages who are well-deserved, will be qualified to have VINAHF support to fight against and escape their poverty loops by their own efforts in education.
Unlike other scholarships, VSP scholarship is our VINAHF long-term commitment to sponsored students. Students in this VSP will continue to receive scholarship until they graduate, so long they maintain their academy performance above the average level.
Besides the committed scholarship, sponsored students will get other supports to ensure their success based on their specific conditions (VINAHF provides laptops, emergency healthcare, additional supports for the unexpected, accidents, family hardship, also financial awards for their excellent performance, financial supports to attend the competitions, etc.)
VINAHF Scholarship Program is one of the most costly VINAHF long-term projects, but it’s also the most successful one.
As of March 2021, more than 110 underprivileged students have graduated colleges, they have achieved the dreams that they once thought it’s impossible due to their poverty.
For last 10 years, VINAHF has been maintaining more than 100 scholarships each year.
